ABOUT:
Social Change Review (SCR) is a peer-reviewed, open access international journal. It is edited by the Sociology and Social Work Unit of the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu in partnership with Newman University, Birmingham. It aims to provide a forum for research and scientific debates on a wide range of topics related to social change and transformation within contemporary societies. The journal explores social, cultural, and political change from various perspectives within the larger field of social sciences. Both empirical-based (quantitative or qualitative approaches) and theoretical contributions are welcome.
Social Change Review was founded in 2003 and it has been published semiannually ever since. Between 2003 and 2009 the journal appeared under the name Revista de Sociologie covering a wide range of issues related to sociology, social work and social policy.
